StorytimePreschool - First Grade
Children are invited to Storytime during the message portion of the Sunday morning service. There are activity books, craft books, flannel board figures — and yes, Bible stories, too! A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers during the Sunday worship service as well as the Sunday School hour. Children under age four may attend the nursery.
Children's Sunday SchoolChildren's Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School began on September 14th. Trinity is using a new curriculum this year, Children Desiring God (www.childrendesiringGOD.org). Lessons include coloring pages and take-home sheets for the parents. Pre-K and Kindergarten children are listening to Old Testament stories, from God creates the world and man right through to God's hand is upon Nehemiah. Each lesson has key themes and coloring pages, and the children will learn how God is powerful, faithful, and loving. 1st & 2nd graders are learning The ABC's of God, a study for children on the Greatness and Worth of God. Starting with A is for Almighty, B is for Bountiful, and C is for Creator, children will learn who God is and what He is like. The author states, "Understanding and embracing an infinitely glorious God may seem like a lofty goal for young children. It is! But we must faithfully direct children to the feats of God's greatness and worth." 3rd through 5th graders are regarding How Majestic is Your Name, a study for children on the Names and Character of God. "As children see who God really is," the author says, "the irresistible goodness and greatness of His character will draw them to Him." Why learn names of God? Because His names tell us very much about Him! He is Creator, Unchanging One, The God Who Sees, and much more! We look forward to you joining us! Junior and senior high Student Bible Fellowship information is available on the Teen News page.
